This line from Edmond Rostand's Cyrano de Bergerac encapsulates the guiding principle of Nepenthe Press.
At Nepenthe Press, it's always okay to publish under a nom de plume; we take our name from Homer's Odyssey, after all, whose silver-tongued hero Odysseus himself proves time and again that for a clever man, it's often best to remain anonymous. Who are we? Just a few anonymous bloggers with a love of myth and whimsey!

Composed of three symbola, culled from ancient Greek mystery cult and steeped in myth - a kantharos, a red poppy, and a narcissus - this logo says it all - that there's always a potent potion brewing at Nepenthe!
